The Swedish soprano-guitar duo Emilia & Erika first met in 2017 when they studied at the Royal College of Music in London. They started creating music together and quickly realised they had similar musical and creative visions, often grounded in their Nordic background and heritage. Years later, in 2025, they came together again and formed the duo Emilia & Erika. 

 

Together, Emilia & Erika build exciting programmes of different genres and themes, and explore new unique ways of performing classical music. Alongside performing much loved classical works by composers such as Henry Purcell, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, they also make their own arrangements of widely known film and video game music, and less well known Scandinavian folk tunes, attracting a wider audience outside of the immediate classical music scene.

 

Emilia & Erika are quickly establishing themselves as a truly unique duo on the European classical music scene. They already have a busy performance schedule together and are excited to see what the future has to offer.
